Home Sweet Home?

It seems to be that every time I decided to go home, two things happen.
(1) Everyone back in San Jose has something going on and invites me
(2) I don't enjoy home as much as I did the last time I visited.

Don't get me wrong... I love my family too much. I talk to my parents all the time. My siblings are my most favorite people. Turlock was a good place to be raised. But man oh man, I am glad that I am away. Even though two hours away isn't a great distance to be away from home, it works out perfectly!

Another topic: I got my hair cut today. So short, in the back. Whoo. It surprised me how short it was.

I also watched Atonement this afternoon. I bought the book in February, haven't read it yet, but now I am anxious to read it. A lot of smoking. Wonderful cinematography. And a true story. And how come all of the Oscar nominated films, not counting Juno, were depressing downers? Amazing what people enjoy watching.
