Alana is 2 Months old and a real cutie.
We went to our 2 month appointment today. She is 11lbs 3oz and 22.5in long.
She has gained 3lbs and grown 1in since her one month appointment.
She also had her vaccinations, 5 to be exact, and though she didn't enjoy them she got a bottle in her mouth and calmed down back to the happy baby she is in the mornings!
The pediatrician, who is so great, said she is growing wonderfully and even has more head/neck/torso control than most at this age.
She likes: to smile, kick and push up on her legs, squirm during diaper changes, eat, nap, go on walks with daddy, sleep on mommy, lift head during tummy time, baths, tours, naps, sounds of the vaccum and womb, swings, swaddles, looking at light, and have visitors.
She doesn't like: burping when she can't burp, hiccups, dirty cloth diapers,
Here are some pictures of the past month.
Nap time with Misty Kitty - she had never gotten this close on her own!
6 weeks smiles!
Nap time with daddy, and chunky cheeks.
Weekend walk in the stroller.
Happy St. Patricks Day!
Before morning wake up time with mommy.
Daddy bought new toys... but she is a little to young for them...
Marshall captured some fun faces.
I am doing much better, at least I feel I am. We have gotten into a routine. She is a fairly happy baby and I've learned to read her "I'm hungry" and "Burp Me" cries/noises thanks to an old Oprah taping on babies cries. Seriously, google and watch it. Still hard to go to sleep but it is getting better. Marshall has been a huge factor in helping me get more sleep and be less anxious.
