For-EV-er

Tuesday we went to our second fetal testing. I was strapped to monitors watching for baby heartbeat/movement and contractions. I was having small contractions every 2-7 minutes during that time (which I only felt the last couple). Then we had a sonogram to check out the amniotic fluid, which has gone down a little bit but not enough to be concerned about. So we wait, until Friday.

Like I said, I have started feeling contractions but only a few have been anything to note. But at least I have a feeling now of what they will feel like at the beginning, since I have been worried about it.

Marshall is way impatient. Apparently I will be pregnant For-EV-ER.
He has started a new hobby with 2x4 projects. The first was a small side table, made out of redwood, for the back yard. He still needs to stain and waterproof it (picture will be posted once he give approval).

He also made some shelves that will help our kitten jump to the top of the bookshelf in the living room and maybe make a platform for her to walk across the top of the window. He just needs to hang the shelves! This is the general idea.

Something that he did a while ago was make scratch pads for the cat with our leftover carpet. They look really nice if only the cat would use them!

Next, with his 2x4 projects he will start working on a small 3 level shelf for small plants and trinkets in the backyard and has plans of a bookshelf and bench. My man is showing his handiness :)

This week, so far, has been really hard. It doesn't have to do with waiting for baby, because it's coming this week regardless and I have always wanted children (in fact I have always wanted twins). I'm nervous about the labor and delivery. Always been nervous about it, even before I was married/dating. Always. I get so annoyed with people (especially men) who say think of all of the women who have given birth before you and are fine. Pregnancy, birth, and motherhood are different for everyone. Men who say that get on my nerves because they will NEVER experience ANYTHING like pregnancy and birth so they do NOT get to say anything about it. I know it is going to be in the back of my mind once baby is born, but for now, it is still the only thing I am worried about.
