We had quite the year with many exciting adventures:
December
2012
*
We spent a few days before Christmas in Pismo with Mallory’s family then headed
down to Ventura for Christmas Eve with the Taylor family. On Christmas Day we
spent time with the Moore family in LA.
January
2013
*
Marshall and Austin snowshoe to Ostrander Ski Hut in Yosemite.
*
We attend the funeral for Marshall’s grandfather in LA. What a wonderful
celebration of family and life.
February
2013
*
We took a trip down the coast for Valentines Day weekend and stopped by to see
our new nephew, Sabien!
March
2013
*Mallory
gets Lasik! No more glasses!
April
2013
*
Marshall has a big month! He takes his Professional Civil Engineering Exams.
*
Marshall starts a new job in Sacramento at Parsons Brinkerhoff, in a Structural
Engineering position.
May
2013
*
We find the PERFECT kitten at the Humane Society
*
Mallory puts in her resignation papers with Orchard School
*Marshall
passed all of his exams
*
We buy our first home
*
Mallory finds out she is pregnant – baby is due January 31st, 2014.
*
Marshall climbs Boundary Peak (Nevada State High Point) and White Mountain
(Mono County High Point).
June
2013
*
Mallory is done with school & we head to Puerto Vallarta for a wedding and
an early 2nd Anniversary vacation!
*
Mallory goes for two weeks to Boston and Washington, DC with her cousin Alec
& Grandma Marlene.
July
2013
*
Marshall climbs Mt. Dana, Mt. Conness and Mt. Ritter.
August
2013
*
We climb Plumas county high point, Mt. Ingalls.
*
Our major house projects for the bedrooms are done – acoustic ceilings removed,
painted, removed & replaced the baseboards, & new carpet put in.
Marshall also completes his masterpiece, the baby room.
*
Marshall climbs Middle Palisade.
September
2013
*
We had our Housewarming & Mallory’s birthday party. Many friends & family
attended & had a good time.
*
We have our 20-week sonogram. Baby is healthy! We won’t know the gender until
baby is born!
October
2013
*
We go backpacking & climb Mt. Eddy. This is Marshall’s 48th &
Mallory’s 11th county high point.
November
2013
*
Mallory’s San Jose friends throw her a Baby Shower. What a fun time with great
friends!
*
We are lucky, again this year, to celebrate Thanksgiving with both sides of the
family. On Thursday, we celebrate with Mallory’s family in Sacramento while on
Friday we celebrate with Marshall’s family in LA.
We
hope all is well with your families and hope for a wonderful Holiday Season for
you all.
