Well now we are trying towards a Healthier Life.
For the about 2.5 years I have had a constant lower back pain. I had been on a backpacking trip with Marshall and after the first day (of 5 days) I had excruciating pains. It was to the pont where I had to walk hunched over and Marshall had to carry all of my items for the rest of the trip. After a few days of resting I was back to normal but with this little but constant pain.
Back in October 2012, I had another excruciating pain in my neck. To the point I could not turn it to the right at all. It was kind of my breaking point to finally getting a chiropractor. I did not want to have pills being shoved down my throat and I had been to chiropractors for past problems (car accidents mostly).
Marshall's coworker's fiance was a chiropractor, so I tried him out. X-rays were taken and it is determined that I have minor scoliosis in my lower back and phase 2 of 4 of arthritis in my upper back. I also have an inverted curve in my neck (as do most people these days due to computer use, looking down at their devices, etc).
So, I have been seeing a chiropractor for 3 times per week since October. And December was down to two days per week. Now it is January and we are starting one day per week. I do still get back pains in my lower back and my neck I haven't really had problems with much.
With my chiropractic services the doctor has also been giving me some kind of "life coaching," haha. I work on my core and my stretches to help improve my back.
This is Marshall on our new 3 inch foam pad, also for my back. He likes sleeping on floors so he is not to thrilled with the idea of a cushy foam cloud :)
