Not much "wedding" stuff.

* MM picked up his ring. He got to design it. It is simple but really nice.
* Started a timeline for the day.
* Asked an Aunt to be the "go-to" person for me on the wedding day. She said yes!
* Got our marriage license.
* We've had a sit down with the photographer/s.
* I pick up my dress on Wednesday.
* Have my first bridal shower on Saturday (A party for me? Not planned by me? Weird! But excited!)

But, some after marriage stuff has been set in place. MM and I looked long and hard for an apartment this past week and weekend. We looked in my area then spanned out from there. We checked out 4 places together and he looked at 2 without me (I was at work). The first place we looked at was the place we ended up putting down our deposit. So far everything has panned out, just waiting for MM's pay stubs and then we have a move in date of June 7th! We will have three places in June, two places in July, and finally one place in August - all due to term/lease agreements. So, if we head up to the Sac area we will have a place to stay until August, haha.


The place is new, nice, and about a 10 more minute walk to work from where I am currently. We will be living in a 1 bedroom/1 bathroom on the third floor. Only side and below neighbors, no above neighbors. We first wanted a 2 bed/2 bath but this place is larger than most so because of what was available, we decided to start with a 1 bed/1 bath. We can easily upgrade within 6 months if we chose to. We shall see.
