I have no idea!
But I am sooo excited for this semester. I am with an awesome second grade class in a local school district. I am not teaching, this semester, but I am observing, learning, helping, and practicing in this classroom for preparation for Spring 2009 semester as a full time student teacher. The teacher is really nice and I am excited to be able to be placed with her this semester. I only wish I could be placed with her next semester as my student teaching master teacher. Oh well!
The stress of this month has been over whelming. The end of July, I had to: take the CSET, went to a friends fathers funeral, and 2 wedding receptions-all in one day.

Then August decided to start off on the stressful foot. I had to await my CSET scores (which when arrived would allow me to add classes), help and lead 2 weeks of RA training, got my CSET scores, get a background check for teaching, spend my savings on just becoming a student teacher, adding the student teaching class (cause I passed the CSET), move-ins of the residents (three 8 hour days of saying, "No we are not the mailroom," problems with the roommate - not as a roommate but as a co-worker, adding classes, and then starting a schedule... plus my birthday was yesterday and I had no time to even think about it.

Luckily EVERYTHING worked out fantastically! A little stressful and nerve wrecking, but the last few days of August have been spectacular! And it all started with me not planning anything for my birthday since I forgot it was even my birthday - and then having people plan things for me, give me gifts, hugs, words of kindness, etc.
It is amazing how things work out for the best (or not), cause they all end up the way they need to be in the end.
